Turkey’s first flying cars are nearing takeoff, with 100 prototype vehicles ordered and due for delivery in 2027.
AirCar Technology and Aviation, a Turkish tech business founded by Eray Altunbozar, announced last week it was taking pre-orders for its first run. All 100 cars sold within days, despite the $99,000 price tag.
The electric-powered vehicle will have a range of 80km, a flying speed of 130km/h and a recharge time of as little as 15 minutes.
